Although the new Nintendo Switch OLED offers almost all the same features that the regular Switch version has, it still has some much-needed upgrades. Nintendo is expected to release this new console this coming October 8.

One of the great things about the new Nintendo Switch OLED is that it accepts all your games and other personal data from the original version of the popular console. This simply means that you don't have to start your titles all over again.

In the United States, the new Nintendo Switch OLED will be available for about $349.99. On the other hand, Nintendo will sell it in the United Kingdom for £309 or around $426.

Compared to the previous Nintendo Switch Lite and the Switch model, the new Nintendo Switch OLED is quite expensive.

Nintendo Switch OLED's New Third Mode

According to The US Sun's latest report, the new Nintendo Switch OLED offers a new third model. You can activate this upgrade by extending the thin stand from the back of your gaming device.

Switch OLED's so-called tabletop mode allows you to play a TV by placing the console on a table or other flat surface areas. Aside from this, the new Nintendo Switch OLED also allows two players to use it.

All you need to do is separate its two Joy-Con controllers. Nintendo also explained that you could flip the stand to share the screen. After that, you can now enjoy a game with multiplayer mode.

Another thing that makes it different from the recent original and Lite models is that the new Nintendo Switch OLED offers a 7-inch OLED screen, which offers around 720 resolution. This is quite impressive from Nintendo since most TV developers still haven't implemented OLED screens on their products.

Nintendo Switch OLED's Pre-Order and Other Details

Toms Guide said that if you want to have one of your own, then you need to pre-order the upcoming Nintendo Switch OLED. In the United States, GameStop, Best Buy, and the official store of Nintendo are expected to release the new Switch OLED this coming Oct. 8.

On the other hand, only the giant GAME retailer is expected to release the new advanced console in the United Kingdom. All these online stores and retailers will offer the latest Nintendo Switch OLED for the same price, which is $349.
