Since this new version is set to arrive this coming October 8, the giant tech creator might soon release its pre-order service. However, there could be one issue once users begin to use the new gaming innovation.

Some critics claimed that the new Nintendo still hasn't confirmed if the new Switch OLED version invulnerable the annoying joy-con drift issue.

Although the new console offers an OLED screen, some improved speakers, and an enhanced kickstand, there's still a chance that it will suffer from the bug since recent Switch models have been experiencing it.

Many news sources and the company's consumers already asked Nintendo if it will release new fixes for the iconic joy-con drift bug.

According to The Verge's latest report, a huge number of consumers already complained about the so-called joy-con drift issue for the past few years. Because it affects their gaming experiences real badly, numerous lawsuits were already filed against Nintendo Switch.

Since the company still hasn't announced an official fix, Nintendo has been offering replacements or check-ups for those consumers with defective joy-con devices. The giant tech creator said that it will offer this even if your warranty is already expired.

"Joy-Con controller configuration and functionality did not change with Nintendo Switch (OLED model)," explained Nintendo.

How To Fix Joy-Con Issue? 

Games Radar recently provided a simple guide that could help consumers they joy-con's issues. To help you further, here are all the steps you can follow:

  1. The first thing you need to do is access your Nintendo Switch's System Settings. After that, you must click the "Controllers and Sensors" option. 
  2. Then, you need to find the "Update Controllers" option. Once you find it, you can click the "A" button on your console. This will allow you to start the fix. 
  3. After that, go to the device's menu. Then, you must click the "Calibrate Control Sticks" option. 

Before you use this guide, you need to remember that it is still not 100% effective. If ever it doesn't work, the best thing you can do is contact Nintendo's official customer service for further assistance.
