Next time you're in Seattle, be sure to make some room when you get on the bus because you may be sharing the ride with one of Seattle's most popular commuters - a black pooch named Eclipse who has figured out how to get on the public transit and all the way to the park all on her own.

The Labrador-Mastiff mix lives with her owner, Jeff Young, about three or four stops away from the park. Apparently, when Young takes a bit too long to finish smoking his cigarette before the bus arrives, she takes off without him and waits for him to catch up to her at the park. Commuters say she has been doing this for the past year and they couldn't be more delighted to share the bus with her.

According to reports, Eclipse takes the bus and looks out the window on her own until it's time for her to get off at the stop by the park. Her story was first picked up by Seattle's KOMO 4 station, and Seattle radio host, Miles Montgomery, tweeted a selfie with the solo-riding Eclipse when he sat by her on the D-line commute.

"She's been urbanized totally. She's a bus-riding, sidewalk-walking dog. If we get separated, she gets on the bus without me and I catch up with her later," her owner, Young, said.

Other commuters said that all the bus drivers know Eclipse and happily let her ride even without her owner or a leash, which according to State laws, is up to the bus driver's discretion, as long as the dog isn't a hazard or dangerous to other bus riders.

Meanwhile, Eclipse is just happy to be going to her daily visits to the park - with or without her human companion.
