There are so many headsets out there perfect for the PlayStation 5, but we're narrowing it down to a handful to make choosing one easier. So, without further ado, read on!

Best Wired PlayStation 5 Headset: SteelSeries Arctis Prime

SteelSeries is no stranger to making excellent peripherals for PC gamers. But who's to say you can't use their products on a gaming console?

The Arctis Prime might stand out in today's market full of wireless headsets, but analog still has a lot of charm. IGN says that while this headset could feel a bit "trimmed down" on certain features, it still gets the job done.

Playing next-gen games on the PlayStation 5 is not just about the graphics, but also the sound--as Sony made sure that their current-gen console also has support for 3D audio. With the Arctis Prime's massive 40mm drivers, you'll enjoy great sound in and out of games, as per an official review from IGN.

On Amazon, the SteelSeries Arctis Prime is currently priced at $99.99 as of this writing. It's a bit steep, but perhaps you'll find the price to be worth it.

Best Wireless PS5 Headset: Logitech GPro X Wireless

Tom's Guide swears by the capabilities of the Logitech GPro X Wireless headset, and for a good reason. They're calling it the best wireless headset from the Logitech stable so far.

Aside from the overall great sound quality, the microphone is also considered among the best in its class--perfect for making sure that your team stays coordinated in a round of "Battlefield 2042" or another fast-paced, massively multiplayer title.

The only problem you'll have with the GPro X Wireless is that it's not as friendly for folks who wear glasses. It's also built like a tank--good for overall durability, but not much for portability.

Best PS5 Headset For Tempest 3D Audio: Sony PS5 Pulse

Sony introduced full 3D audio support with the PlayStation 5 for the first time with their technology called Tempest, which promises an all-new level of audio immersion, writes WhatHiFi

And to make sure that gamers can fully appreciate Tempest 3D audio, Sony also released its own official PS5 headset: the Pulse. According to GamesRadar, the Pulse is an "unsurprising" top performer in its category.

Aside from the rich sound, the Sony PS5 Pulse is also very straightforward to use (it's an official companion accessory). There's not a lot of loops you have to go through to get it working, and it looks very discreet--there's no obvious microphone protruding out of it, for one, which makes it look very sleek and modern.

The only issue with it is that the built-in microphone can be a bit lacking when compared to another good PS5 headset on the market.

Best Budget PlayStation 5 Headset: SteelSeries Arctis 1

If you're looking for a great budget PS5 headset, then the SteelSeries Arctis 1 should be worth a look. It's not dirt-cheap by any means, but it still costs less than a lot of the other headsets on this list.

GameSpot says that while the Arctis 1 is one of the lowest-end in SteelSeries' arsenal, it's one of the best that they have. It has a combination of great audio quality and widespread compatibility for the price.

It might feel a bit flimsy compared to other SteelSeries headsets (or any other headset out there). But if you want something that works at a great price, the Arctis 1 will be your best friend for when you're deep in a heated shootout or just chilling with some Spotify tunes on your PS5 console
