Spotify, the current top streaming app for music listeners, offers a variety of subscription features. Even before the pandemic hit, the Swedish audio giant has become one of the most used apps.

For just $9.99 per month, you can immediately start playing your favorite songs with no interruptions. There's no room for random shuffles for this kind of subscription.

If there comes a time that you want to switch to another service like Apple Music, here's everything you need to know about this process.

Aside from canceling Spotify Premium, you will also learn how to delete an account you wish to remove from the platform.

How to Close Your Free Spotify Account

Before diving into the details, let's first discuss how the Premium package works. According to a report by PCMag, the paid version features unlimited skips and ad-free streaming. Another perk that you can experience through this option is offline listening.

There's also a family account that you might want to share with other members. It will only cost $14.99 per month. On the other hand, the free version has only one staggering limitation: shuffle play. This means that when you browse the album and play a song, you cannot control the next song in line.

In another report, Spotify HiFi was reportedly going to be postponed to 2022, according to Tech Times. The first time the lossless streaming service was mentioned was back in February 2021. By lossless, it means that you can listen to high-resolution audio files as part of a paid subscription.

As for the fans, the delayed release of the "most requested" feature was quite disappointing.
