Xiaomi 12 Ultra is rumored to release sometime in the third quarter of 2022. Leaks are also saying that the upcoming flagship smartphone is also sporting the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus chipset.

Xiaomi 12 Ultra Release
As per a report by Tech Radar, the rumored smartphone of the Chinese phone maker Xiaomi has been leaked from the internal database of the tech giant.
The Xiaomi 12 Ultra reportedly carries the model number 2206122SC, along with its internal codename L2S.
The latest leak from a prominent leaker Digital Chat Station claims that the upcoming Xiaomi 12 Ultra is releasing sometime in July, August, or September, or basically the third quarter of the year.
Meanwhile, Tech Radar noted in the same news story that its predecessor, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, saw the light of day way back in March 2021.
That said, if the latest leak is to be believed, the upcoming Xiaomi flagship is scheduled to be released later than the previous schedule of the Mi 11 Ultra last year.
Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro
On the other hand, the siblings of the Xiaomi 12 Ultra, both the Xiaomi 12 and the Xiaomi 12 Pro have already been released in China way back on Dec. 2021.

However, it is to note that both these phones have yet to be released on the international market, making them exclusively available in the Chinese nation for the meantime.
Nevertheless, some rumors are suggesting that the Xiaomi 12 is coming to international consumers this month, February, or March.
That said, fans of the Chinese phone maker across the globe could expect the same delay for the Xiaomi 12 Ultra.
Xiaomi 12 Ultra and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus
On top of that, according to a recent report by GizBot, leaks are also claiming that the Xiaomi 12 Ultra would be flaunting the next generation chipset from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus.
The massive chipmaker has yet to announce the rumored successor of its Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, which most Android mobile devices are expected to carry this year.
However, another Chinese leaker, Mobile Chip Expert previously reported that Qualcomm is releasing the Plus variant of its Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SOC "early."
It is interesting to point out that previous releases of the Plus variant typically debuts on the second hand of the year.
