The foldable iPhone has been facing tons of delays in the past, while Apple has yet to confirm that it is actually working on a Samsung Galaxy Fold counterpart on its end.

iPhone Foldable Launch Delayed

As per a news story by CNET, the release date of the foldable Apple flagship phone has been a "moving target" since rumors have been unraveling its existence.

On top of that, the earliest that the foldable iPhone launch has reached is in 2023, which by now is only a year away.

However, the latest report from the analyst and CEO of the Display Supply Chain Consultants, Ross Young, is now claiming that its rumored launch would face a setback once again.

According to a report by 9to5Mac, the display analyst, Young, says that Apple appears to have decided to delay the launch of its first-ever foldable flagship for two more years, or in 2025.

Young admits that the Display Supply Chain Consultants expected the new delay after its discussions with various supply chains.

The display analyst went on to say that Apple seems not to be in a hurry to enter the emerging market of foldable smartphones. As such, Young said that its release could even go beyond the predicted year of its debut.

Foldable MacBook Display

What's more, Apple is reportedly investigating producing a MacBook that would be sporting a foldable display as well. Basically, the Cupertino-based tech giant is rumored to be looking into releasing a foldable notebook.

However, the catch is it would be seeing the light of day any time now, we'll actually have to wait for a couple of years to get our hands on it, Young claims.

The iPhone maker is reportedly looking into making its first foldable MacBook up to 20 inches in size.

The display analyst further said that the rumored foldable notebook of Apple could feature a resolution of up to 4K or UHD.

Meanwhile, the second display of the foldable could serve as a full-size keyboard when it is folded like how traditional laptops work. However, when it is unfolded into a massive display, its users could use it as an external display and connect a keyboard to it.

The recall is for 15-inch MacBook Pro laptops sold between September 2015 and February 2017.

It is worth noting that all of this information regarding the foldable MacBook is still mere speculations. Apple has yet to confirm that it would be developing such a device.
