Apple released the Mac Studio earlier today, and it arrived by the Peek Performance March 8 event as predicted by leakers and speculators for the showcase. However, instead of the M2 that comes with the Mac Studio, it comes with either the M1 Max from last October's MacBook Pro and the new M1 Ultra processor from the Cupertino giant.

Apple revealed its Mac Studio and Mac Studio Display earlier today via the Peek Performance event. It focuses on a monitor and CPU unit combo to bring a desktop option for massive processes. At least, that is what Apple promised on its showcase.

The device comes with the M1 Max and M1 Ultra processor for its CPU, and it guarantees support for massive processes for creatives and other focuses.

It features various new offers, including a 20-core GPU and up to a 64-core GPU, which is beyond what the original M1 can offer, first seen for the Mac mini. The device provides up to 128 GB of unified memory, which is a significant boost since M1's 8 GB, and it can process up to 800 GB/s for its memory bandwidth.

The device also features several Thunderbolt 4 ports, WiFi 6, and Bluetooth 5.0 for its wireless connections.

The new power cube comes with the Studio Display, a 27-inch 5K Retina display that gives the iMac a run for its money.

Apple Mac Studio Arrives with new M1 Ultra, Not M2

The Cupertino giant brings the M1 Ultra chip as its fastest one up to date, but it is not the M2 that speculators previously predicted for this release. Nevertheless, it is still the most powerful chipset for a personal computer, so Apple says, aiming to bring a breeze to mountains of workload by a person, without experiencing lag.

Apple's CPU for Computers, M-Series Chip

Apple is not much into releasing CPU units that need to connect to a display before it can bring its computer features to the public, and one of them is with the iMac that unified everything. Its only ties to its roots are with the Mac mini that featured the M1 and the Mac Pro that still uses the Intel processors from before, not yet having an update from Apple.

The Cupertino giant started by bringing a monitor and CPU unit combo from before, and the Mac Studio and its Studio Display are the closest to the feature. There were initial reports that it is coming to the March 2022 event by the Cupertino giant, and it pushed through with its showcase earlier, bringing the public more profound into the world of M1.

The M1 chip brings the public a Mac-centered approach to its processors from Apple's designs, unique to the company.

The Mac Studio promises a more powerful device than the Mac mini and almost lines itself up to the Mac Pro as it promises a massive process that will suit creatives and their needs. It comes with the M1 Ultra and not the M2, but this new processor also boasts a boosted performance that will bring a new era compared to last year's release.
