Alfa Romeo's F1 Team, Orlen, races into the metaverse with a new partnership with the hyper-realistic space, Everdome. The blockchain and Web3 company based in Dubai has been expanding and enhancing its hold in the digitized world of the metaverse, proving time and again it may well be among the best platforms in the space.

Through the Unreal Engine 5-powered Everdome, Orlen will aim mainly to connect with its audience in new and interesting ways while offering fans an expansive ecosystem to interact with on a global scale. It's a newform dynamic for motorsport teams interested in diving into a digital space where their content can thrive for fans and enthusiasts alike.

Orlen will have its own real estate within the Everdome metaverse where all can come together and enjoy motorsport's history together. Alfa Romeo's F1 team isn't the only one diving into the space, as witnessed by the likes of Red Bull Racing, which utilizes Oracle's cloud infrastructure to improve upon racing strategy through a virtual car setup.

While Everdome and Orlen give no word on potentially elevating the motorsport through virtual car analytics and optimization, it only seems like an obvious use case for the metaverse platform, as well as delivering new ways of engaging with races.
