Subaru announced the pricing for the new Solterra EV that will soon be available in all 50 states for the distribution and sale of electric cars. The MSRP of the new electric vehicle from Subaru prices itself starting at $44,995 for the electric vehicle, and it is the same price as entry-level electric sedan types.

It is cheaper than electric SUVs in the market, but it is not exactly a budget car for those looking for more affordable options. Subaru said that its vehicle is eligible for up to $7,500 federal tax credit, and it will put the car at around $37,995 after taxes.

The Japanese car company said that it could output up to 228 miles of range for its price, and it is an adequate power output for the electric vehicle.

Its price after taxes makes it affordable for those with a budget of up to $40,000 for an electric vehicle; the Solterra EV is a good choice that will bring space and comfort for all needs. Indeed, it will have more headroom than the other competitors in the market, especially at the same price point.

The only thing to consider now is its battery range and other features of the EV.

Subaru and its Cars

Subaru is getting a change of heart, and by nature, its electric motor drops the Boxer engine for the new Solterra EV that debuted last September 2021, bringing the first EV of the company. The car takes on the many characteristics of Subaru cars, especially with the all-wheel-drive and low center of gravity due to its batteries.

The Japanese car company also opened up the reservations for the electric vehicle earlier this year, with its first possible release in late 2023 or further. The Solterra EV is the first of the many electric vehicles to come for Subaru, and it will coincide with the production of its cars with the Boxer engine layout that is iconic to its take on vehicles.

The Solterra EV features a relatively adequate range to last a person several miles before needing to recharge the vehicle on their trips. Moreover, it is affordable for all, from its base price down to its discount eligibility for EVs in the country.

The Subaru Solterra EV may be a good option for families looking at SUVs with electric mobility features, with the company thriving on its car features.
