There are reports regarding Elon Musk's latest interview with the Financial Times that he favors lifting the ban on Donald Trump on Twitter, and he claimed that it is "morally wrong" for the platform. And many have talked about it already, with several clips for the interview circulating online and providing a sound-byte for Musk's decision.

However, Musk said that it is important to listen to what he said and explained during the interview, as there would be no special treatment for Trump and anyone on the platform. The decision to allow Trump to return is to practice freedom of speech and offer people their platform from the far right and far left, with Twitter remaining in the middle.

Elon Musk, Donald Trump, and Twitter

Elon Musk and Donald Trump have no history of working together on their businesses, but Trump once supported NASA and SpaceX's work together, as the former President says The Atlantic. Some tweets and memes talked about each other in the past, especially coming from the tech CEO back when Trump was still the leader.

The Trump ban on Twitter came from the then CEO and co-founder, Jack Dorsey, which became a massive deplatforming case after the new President, Joe Biden, was sworn into office. Donald Trump then launched lawsuits against this decision by the tech and social media company, saying that it was unjust for the company to do this against him.

Since then, Trump has made several attempts to launch his social media platforms like the initial WordPress blog site and the now Truth Social, which became famous when it launched via the App Store.

Now, it seems that Donald Trump may soon have a chance to showcase his feelings and updates back on Twitter through Elon Musk, and the new owner said that he has reasons for this decision. Musk said that it is not supporting the former chief executive but more of allowing all sides to have their voice available online.
