Tesla is having a new AI Day for 2022, and it will take place in two months says its CEO Elon Musk in his recent Twitter announcement regarding the event. Musk teases many cool updates that would come for the company's showcase, as well as job opportunities as it would also look into recruiting possible AI experts and developers in the industry.

It will be called the "Tesla AI Day #2" for being the second event from the company.

Tesla AI Day #2: Coming by August, Elon Musk Confirms

A tweet by Elon Musk announced that a new event is coming this August 19, and it will focus on the Tesla AI Day #2 coming in the following months. The announcement comes as a surprise to everyone as most did not expect that it will be an annual event for the clean energy company, and Tesla is not one with yearly happenings.

Tesla's Battery Day in September 2020 did not see a follow-up event last 2021, and the AI Day went ahead of its schedule a month earlier.

Musk did not detail much of what is to come at the event, but the public may expect some news regarding the Tesla Bot that came last year at the same event. Nevertheless, Musk said that there are many "cool updates" to come on that day, focusing on the many technologies and artificial intelligence that Tesla has for the public.

What Will Happen on Tesla AI Day #2?

Apart from the showcase on Tesla AI Day #2, there would also be massive offers on job opportunities for the public, with a chance to work with the car manufacturer regarding AI.

Musk said that the "main purpose" of AI Day is to recruit individuals to join Tesla and to work on its AI, software, and chip ventures to expand more on the technology.

Tesla and its AI Day

The first Tesla AI Day took place last August 2021 and it talked about the technology of the company that focused on self-learning and giving a system that would assist the drivers of their vehicles. One of Tesla's top AI is the electric vehicles it brought to the public, but last 2021, it also introduced to the world the first look at the Tesla Bot.

There are many promising things about the Tesla Bot, which also looks like a faceless mannequin, but it will be a device that would help people with their daily needs and requirements. Musk and the event said that the Tesla Bot is coming this 2022, but there are no reports regarding the clean energy company releasing the technology now.

AI Day #2 is right around the corner, and it will showcase many of Tesla's technology for the world to see.

One of the other things that will get a highlight here would most likely be the Full-Self Driving (FSD) feature that also uses artificial intelligence and machine learning that is available on its EVs. There are no revelations as to what will come for the Tesla AI Day #2 and the tech it would feature in the coming event, only job opportunities for the public.
