This YouTuber has finally built a slimmer version of the standard PS5.
The newest PS5 console is considered to be bulky despite several developments that Sony has put into it. Some people would think there's a slimmer version of this console for those who want to eliminate its unnecessary bulk.
Recently, DIY Perks, a popular tech YouTuber has proven that creating a slimmer PlayStation 5 model is possible. There's no need anymore to stare at the huge casing of the console as it's only 1.9 centimeters in thickness, per Engadget.
According to the content creator, he used a special water-cooling system that he built by himself. He incorporated the power supply into the case so that the latter won't be easily noticed. For this part, he put it behind the TV.
Of course, doing this is a chore, and since it's a DIY, it will take some time to finish. DIY Perks encountered many issues during the test runs, but the end product went smoothly.
Compared to the usual PS5, the YouTuber said that his homemade cooling system had fared better than it. He concluded this after testing it for the "Horizon Forbidden West" gameplay.
It's interesting to know how he ended up with this fascinating invention. However, we could surmise from the video that it's not easy to build the PS5 Slim. The processes are crucial, and it needs a lot of patience and hard work to do.
One-Handed PS5 DualSense Adapter
In another report from Tech Times, another YouTuber shared a design of the one-handed DualSense attachment. Akaki Kuumeri has 3D-printed this technology and linked it to the left thumbstick.
The creator added that this invention would be a perfect accessory for D-pad users. Players would no longer rely on the Share Button, thanks to this adapter.
