ComicBook Gaming reported that multiple sources claim Konami plans to release a remaster of three "Metal Gear" titles from the franchise's past release. It will focus on the original trilogy, including "Metal Gear Solid," "Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty," and "Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater," which are coming soon to modern gaming platforms.

It is unknown if this is a part of the company's celebration of the 35th anniversary of the game's first release, but it only shows that there are no significant plans for its sequel as of the present. Despite this, re-experiencing the famous games from Konami under the "Metal Gear" franchise may help fill the gaps the game developers left.

Konami Rumors: 'Silent Hill' New Game

According to Video Game Chronicles, Konami's recent panel at the Tokyo Game Show earlier today talked about a new release from the company, bordering on a game that is a worldwide phenomenon. Multiple titles from the company's development became a global hit, but one that stands out according to speculations is the "Silent Hill" game.

The last "Silent Hill" title was released in 2012, with the game receiving mixed reviews from critics. After that, no more games were developed to succeed in its last release, with the company holding until now. Still, there are important details that support an upcoming game for the franchise claims the leaks.

Konami's Games

Previous leaks claim that new games from Konami are coming soon from the company, and it will bring the sequel to its famous franchises that brought the company massive fame and recognition. Titles like the "Castlevania," "Metal Gear Solid," and "Silent Hill" franchises saw significant information about the new titles coming soon.

However, there were little to no follow-ups regarding the leak, and it still left the gaming world waiting for the new titles from the game developers supposedly arriving soon.

Hideo Kojima and Konami's relationship saw a downfall already, and the gamers experienced what happened to the quality of the titles from the company without the famous director. Nevertheless, there are still noteworthy titles from the company's current development of titles even without the patronage of Kojima.

Now, gamers are met with another news of titles coming from Konami's game studio, bringing iterations of classic games for modern consoles, particularly with "Silent Hill's" alleged new game. Moreover, a leak regarding the "Metal Gear" remasters is also coming, with speculations it will join the 35th anniversary of the title's first release.
