Microsoft's September 2022 Security Update revealed that there were 64 vulnerabilities that are present in the company's systems, with five critical ones manifesting in its services. The company also said that it already released a patch to prevent these vulnerabilities from exploitation by threat actors who are only waiting to access users' information or data.
There are common vulnerabilities and exposures (CVEs) in Microsoft Windows, It also includes the security threats present in the following:

- Azure Arc
- .NET
- Visual Studio
- .NET Framework
- Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based)
- Office
- Windows Defender
- Linux Kernel
According to ZDNet, Microsoft previously revealed 141 CVEs from within its systems last August.

Among the 64 vulnerabilities in Microsoft's systems, reports claim that there is one that has been exploited already, but the software company already fixed this issue for the public.
