The Google-backed all-women networking group, Chief, finally expanded internationally.

This U.S.-based organization was formed specifically to empower lady leaders in various industries.

Now, the organization wants to help those outside the United States by expanding its reach.

Their ongoing international expansion will start in the United Kingdom as U.K.-based senior women executives demand their service.

Aside from this, Spotify, Disney, HBO, Pfizer, Doordash, and other big names also support the rise of this all-women networking group.

Thanks to the support of these companies, Chief was able to expand its operations. On Oct. 4, the organization announced that its international expansion would further improve its community.

This can happen by gathering more connections, global perspectives, and shared insights across its 20,000 members, ranging from C-level executives to managing directors and vice presidents.

"Women are underrepresented in executive leadership positions across the U.K., much like they are in most of the world," said Chief Brand Officer Lindsay Kaplan.

What Chief Has to Offer

Chief's official website explained that the organization's main goal is to strengthen the leadership and influence of women leaders.

Their platform can connect ladies to other women leaders (including Amal Clooney, Mellody Hobson, Indra Nooyi, Diane von Furstenberg, Kara Swisher, Gloria Estefan, Adam Grant, and Gayle Kin), as well as allow them to build their personal board of advisors.

Aside from this, they can also unlock access to prominent business experts and programming. On the other hand, Chief also has exclusive clubhouses in major cities.

Thanks to these, members of the organization can host meetings and connect with other members while enjoying their discussions.

As of writing, Chief's flagships are located in Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, and New York.

But, this list of cities will still grow as Chief expands in the U.K. and other countries.

For those who want to become a member, there are certain qualifications, such as the following:

  • Commitment to driving impact and supporting others to change the face of leadership
  • C-level executive, accomplished V.P., or equivalent executive leadership role within your organization
  • Established career with 15+ years of experience
