Windows 10 users are in for a treat as Microsoft recently made the Windows Subsystem for Linux available for the past operating system of the computers, to access and use on their devices. Users may install this new feature for their PCs to access Linux and its different offers, centering on running the open-source OS on their Microsoft computers without dual-booting procedures.
The feature was initially exclusive to Windows 11 users only, but the company is now allowing the past system access to this feature to run different systems and GUI apps available on Linux.

Windows Developer Platform Program Manager Craig Loewen said in a recent blog post that the Windows Subsystem for Linux made for the Windows 10 systems are here. The Microsoft Store is now dropping in a removed "Preview" label that will give users the new system available for their devices to use, centering on the alternative system for their computers.
It means that users no longer have to dual boot or have a separate virtual machine to accommodate their needs for this system.
Users may download the in-Windows version of the WSL for Windows 10, but if they want the version that would receive the critical bug fixes and future updates, users may opt for the in-store version soon.
