But how likely is this model of the most-awaited electric pickup truck to become a reality?

Experts said that Tesla already has expertise when it comes to designing electric SUVs.

Electrek reported that Tesla could also rely on the strategy it used on the Model X to create the new Cybertruck SUV.

Now, Scott Stewart from SAAW shared some renders showing what the new Tesla Cybertruck SUV could look like.

Based on the images, the SUV version of the electric pickup truck would still have the same design.

However, the bed would be replaced by a big interior cabin, allowing passengers to have a third row of seats.

If this is true, then the Cybertruck SUV could have up to nine seats.

Regarding price, enthusiasts believe that the SUV version would be cheaper than the Tesla Model X.

When Could It Arrive?

As of writing, fans are still waiting for the arrival of the Tesla Cybertruck base model.

Toms Guide reported that this zero-emission vehicle could be launched by 2023 at the earliest.

However, since the automaker has already broken its previous promises, there's a chance that this estimated release date would still change.

Previously, we reported that the Tesla Cybertruck 2022 launch content was removed by the automaker from its official website.

If Tesla decides to make an SUV version of its Cybertruck, you need to expect that it would take years before it debuts.

While fans are waiting for this new EV, a Tesla Cybertruck prototype was recently spotted at the Fremont factory.
