Unlike other robotic bands, this one can play all-time favorite songs, such as those of Nirvana, Michael Jackson, and even Queen.

Aaron Todd, the man behind the robotic music group, has over 10 million views on his One Hacker Band TikTok account.

Thanks to his skills as a professional audio-visual design engineer, he was able to develop an effective robotic band.

He uses this software to sequence out the notes that his instruments will play.

"It's basically orchestrated servo movements. That is what is making the music. I really wasn't expecting to get kind of the reaction that I did," said the audio-visual engineer.

At first, his videos were not really attracting viewers. But, his content started generating likes and views after he covered Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit" in December 2022.

This cover of his has the most views, reaching over three million as of press time. In the comment section, many TikTok users shared their excitement.

One of them even said that the viral TikToker should be prepared when he starts receiving bookings for weddings and other events.

Making the Robot Band Wasn't a Piece of Cake

If you watched Todd's videos, it looks like creating the robotic band was a piece of cake.

But, the audio-visual expert said it's more complicated than it looks.

One of the problems he encountered when building his artificial music group was 3D-printing the robotic parts.

Aside from this, Todd also experienced difficulties adjusting guitar strings and other musical instrument components.

Todd said that he would continue working on his animatronic band, hoping there would be robotic vocalists soon.
