The artificial intelligence made huge headlines after it was released back in November 2022.
Comments about it are divided since many people are intrigued by its functionalities, while others are concerned about its effects.
Despite criticisms, ChatGPT was still able to attract many users. Thanks to the efforts of OpenAI, its app is now considered the fastest-growing application.

According to Engadget's latest report, ChatGPT was able to acquire 13 million uses per day in the month of January.

This detail was revealed by a new study conducted by UBS, an analytics firm based in Switzerland.
Mashable reported that other apps took longer to reach 100 million users. For example, it took TikTok nine months to reach this number.
Instagram also had to spend more than two years to reach 100 million users.
"In 20 years following the internet space, we cannot recall a faster ramp in a consumer internet app," said UBS.
As of press time, experts are unsure if ChatGPT can maintain its popularity. UBS analyst Lloyd Walmsley said that it depends on the AI app's "staying power."
He added that artificial intelligence could have an element that people are looking for.
