Some people have lowkey biases or artists they do not want others to know, which is perfectly fine, as listening to one genre or artist may be tiresome.

This would not be a problem moving forward with Spotify's latest feature called "Exclude From Your Taste Profile," which would not take into account one's latest search or listening experience, one that could affect their listening data.

Spotify is all about personalization, claims the Swedish audio streaming service, and it is adding a new feature that takes it to the next level. This new feature is called "Exclude From Your Taste Profile," which aims to aid people in protecting their precious Spotify streaming data from all the other music they check out on the platform.

For example, users are primarily engaged with hip-hop and R&B but want to occasionally listen to punk rock to get their souls moving; this feature would help keep one's profile centered on their original preference.

According to Spotify's latest news release, when this feature is enabled for every playlist or song visit, it will remove it from one's personalized recommendation, unaffecting their data.

Spotify Data Will Be Unaffected by This New Feature

Spotify is an interactive app, and it uses a person's search to build libraries, radios, and daily mixes that would base themselves on the familiar songs people listen to, as well as artists and albums.

Looking into new music and having it frequently appear may disrupt one's preferences to mix with the latest recommendations. This feature will help give more control to users rather than taking all the data from the app and using them for recommendations.

Spotify Data: Wrapped, and Other Features

People may judge you from appearance, money, intellect, knowledge, and other factors. Still, in this modern age, people also base their judgments on music taste and Spotify playlists or Wrapped information.

One of the most famous year-end reviews in the world for music taste and listening experience is with Spotify Wrapped, which brings an informative list of information regarding one's musical journey of the year. It is worth noting that some people showcase their Wrapped details on their social media, so they put massive efforts into curating their unique tastes in music.

However, if one is not ecstatic about Spotify's Wrapped feature, they may opt for the famous judger web app called "The Pudding" Spotify Bot. It is based on an artificial intelligence that was created to determine if a person's music taste is good, essential, or plain garbage, which the bot would explicitly reveal.

Spotify's latest feature is a massive help to those who are incredibly meticulous about their music listening experience and their online profile on the app. The "Exclude From Your Taste Profile" helps users explore the app more without worrying about how it will affect their listening experience and what their profile will look like at the end of the year.
