Unfortunately, Samsung Electronics has finally given up on trying to fit an S Pen in their latest device, the Galaxy Z Fold 5. Following the cancellation of the Note series, the S Pen feature was included on the Ultra and Z Fold devices, but the feature could have been more successful in the Z Fold series. 

Concerns Regarding Internal Space Lead Samsung to Deny Users Built-in S Pen in Z Fold Series 

According to the story by Giz China, reports reveal that this was due to its impact on the internal space of the phones, resulting in higher production costs and poorer writing experiences for users. Since its launch in 2019, fans of the Z Fold series have generally requested a built-in S Pen, but their wish has yet to be denied. 

While a built-in S Pen is technically possible, the phone would have to be thicker to accommodate it, and this would be a self-defeating move. As a thinner S Pen will bring down the writing experience, Samsung apparently has no choice but to stick with their decision to ax the S Pen feature, as explained in an article by IT Homes.

The Galaxy Z Fold 4 has two combined screens - a 7.6" QXGA+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity Flex internal screen and a 6.2" HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X external screen - both of which are protected by Gorilla Glass Victus + glass and support 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. 

On the outside of the device is a 10MP selfie lens, while the internal screen has a 4MP under-screen camera. There is also a 50MP wide-angle main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle, and a 10MP telephoto lens, which supports 3x optical and 30x digital zoom.
