On Thursday evening, President Donald Trump signed an executive order that bans any transactions between the parent company of TikTok, ByteDance, and U.S. citizens due to national security reasons.

This is not the first time that the music streaming platform collaborated with the popular video app.

In 2021, Audius also worked with TikTok.

In their previous collaboration, the two companies allowed users to upload their music to Audius into the TikTok sound library.

Because of this, Audius' native token (AUDIO) was able to increase its value, raising the market cap to over $1 billion.

Will the latest TikTok-Audius partnership help the Web3 streaming platform's shares to increase?

Unlike the recent one, this new partnership allows new Audius users to create accounts by linking their TikTok profiles to the Web3 music streaming platform.

Thanks to this, new Audius users can easily import their information and carry over their TikTok verification status to the music platform.

Of course, the latest TikTok integration will also allow Audius users to share their songs in their TikTok videos.

With this, the new TikTok-Audius partnership is expected to expand the reach of the Web3 music streaming platform.

"Anything that's good for artists is good for the Audius community, and by letting artists import their verified status from TikTok, we think it'll attract an even wider group of talent," said Audius CPO Forrest Browning.

What Makes Audius Different?

Unlike other music streaming platforms and services, Audius focuses on offering the benefits of Web3.

This means that Audius is a decentralized music streaming platform. It allows singers and other musicians to choose how they want to monetize their content.

Although Audius is different, its main goal is still to empower music streaming by connecting fans to artists.
