Tesla's Referral Program is making a comeback in Europe, following its return in other countries, such as the United States and Australia.
The Referral Program brings generous giveaways, known as the Loot Box Credits, for those who will refer their friends and acquaintances to buy a Tesla electric vehicle (EV).

Tesla Referral Program is Back in Europe
As per a report by Tech Crunch, Tesla Europe is now offering a generous referral program once again. Its comeback should encourage its current EV owners to refer their friends to buy a Tesla.
The news outlet notes that the program should also improve the brand loyalty of the customers of the Elon Musk-owned automaker.
It is worth noting that Tesla is unlike any other carmaker. It stays away from traditional advertising in promoting its EVs. So to gain new customers, despite the lack of ads, the EV maker capitalizes on the word of mouth from its existing clients. And to encourage current owners to refer more people, it has a generous referral program.
The giant EV maker previously halted its referral program in Europe, following its pause in the United States and other regions.
But this time, the referral program is up and running again with a few tweaks in its rewards.
How Does the Referral Program Work
Tesla announced that new customers are eligible for generous rewards when accepting a referral from their existing Tesla EV owner. Apart from the reward for the new buyer, the current car owner is also getting up to 2,000 credits per successful referral.

On top of that, customers who would get their hands on their new Tesla EV on or before March 31, 2023, are getting more rewards.
For the referrer, they will receive up to a whopping 10,000 credit, which could be used for paying software updates.
On the other hand, the new customer gets 5,000 free Supercharging kilometers, giving them a couple of battery top-ups free of charge.

What are Loot Box Credits
Tesla Europe on Twitter disclosed that new buyers and referrers can get their hands on rewards that go by the name "Loot Box Credits."
Teslarati notes in its report that the Tesla loot box allows customers to buy a few items on the online store of the EV maker. The most noteworthy option available is none other than supercharging miles.
Meanwhile, Tech Crunch adds that the loot box credits could also buy a Solar Roof or Solar Panels. So if you are thinking of purchasing these items, you might want to join the Tesla Referral Program in Europe.
