A new iPhone 15 rumor surfaces about Apple's plan to increase its battery size.
According to reports originating from Weibo and ITHome, the iPhone 15 series is expected to witness a substantial increase in battery capacity compared to its predecessor, the iPhone 14. These rumors indicate Apple's intention to offer users enhanced battery performance and longer usage times.
The tipsters have revealed the iPhone 15 will have bigger battery capacities that could reach 350mAh, to 600mAh. The improvement is significantly higher than the previous iPhone model.
If its predecessor only has a 3,279mAh battery capacity, the iPhone 15 will boast a 3,877mAh battery. It's no surprise that the Plus variant will sport the biggest battery among all models: from 4,325mAh to 4,912mAh.
Additionally, the Pro models of the iPhone 15 series might benefit from notable battery capacity improvements. The 3,650mah battery of the iPhone 15 Pro will allegedly surpass iPhone 14 Pro's 3,200mAh battery.
Meanwhile, the iPhone 15 Pro Max is rumored to have a 4,852mAh battery which is also bigger compared to the 4,323mAh capacity of the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
While none of this information is proven to be true, Apple might have fresh plans for the whole iPhone 15 lineup. If that's the case, then it's prioritizing the optimization of the iPhone's battery to improve the user's experience.

Back in June, Tech Times reported that Apple could be planning to roll out a 48MP camera to all iPhone 15 variants. Rather than making it available to Pro models, the iPhone maker might have decided to bring it to the rest of the lineup.
The new camera setup will boast "state-of-the-art sensors" from Sony.
Just recently, the India-based publication Hindustan Times reported that two new colors for iPhone 15 were leaked. In its report, the standard iPhone 15 and the Plus models will receive Mint shade or Green. The Pro model, on the other hand, will feature a crimson shade.
Speaking of new colors, an Apple product collector claimed that the prototype of the MagSafe charger hinted at new options such as Midnight, Silver, Space Gray, and Starlight.
