Microsoft's Bethesda is soon releasing its much-anticipated action RPG set in the massive galaxy, with Starfield also revealing that it will allow gamers to preload the game before launch. The game is set to drop by September, and while other titles would only allow downloads from preorders by then, the Amazon listing of the game claims otherwise.

With the massive file size of the game also unveiled, it may take gamers a few hours, even on significant internet download speeds, to download the game without a preload.

The importance of preloads can not be overstated, especially for a game with an incredibly whopping 125 GB file size as revealed earlier, with Starfield's Amazon listing confirming a perk for gamers who want to jump in immediately.

Instead of waiting for the game's release by September and then downloading it to their preferred platform, Bethesda and Microsoft are giving gamers a chance to preload it starting August 9.

Should the listing be accurate, gamers that have already preordered or downloaded the game will have the capability to do so, having it available on their PCs or Xbox Series consoles.

Most massive games did not give gamers a chance to preload the title before launch, with ComicBook Gaming citing Baldur's Gate 3 not giving players a chance to do this beforehand.

The preload times are set, and this will give gamers less than a month to mentally and figuratively prepare themselves and their setup for the game's drop.

Starfield would release by September 6, to feature the highly-anticipated space adventure to experience this massive open world title on Xbox and PC.

Starfield and Microsoft, Bethesda's Development

Back in E3 2021, Microsoft and Bethesda announced their AAA-rated space role-playing game, "Starfield," which captivated the audience with what it has to bring. The hype surrounding the game is massive, as it promises a massive open world for players to explore, one that is set to bring significant development in space-based games.

However, it faced major delays since its first announcement, with the initial promise claiming that it would launch by November 11, 2022, but did not arrive during this timeline.

What is even more iconic with the game is that it would be an Xbox Series S or X exclusive, alongside a PC port, but ultimately gatekeeps it for the Sony PlayStation.

Microsoft's Bethesda's latest AAA-rated game is now coming soon and set for 2023 to arrive, now with preparations for its arrival, especially with the massive size of the title. With an out-of-this-world 125GB file size, it would take players some time to fully download and install it, but this leak of a preload means that they would be set once Starfield releases by September.
