One of the best things Valve's Steam offers is Remote Play, and now, this feature is testing a new experience that brings 4K gaming support for your needs.

This 4K gaming feature for the Remote Play is currently under beta testing, but it already brings out the top-notch quality of games that could be perfect for your setup.

This feature is one helpful experience for gamers as it allows the cloud streaming of games, provided that the original Steam account and computer are active.

Steam Remote Play Brings 4K Gaming Support

Valve announced via its Steam Client Beta update that Remote Play is now featuring 4K gaming support, expanding more of what the platform has to offer in terms of quality.

That means that users may move from one device to another, and if this remote device supports 4K, the high-quality experience may be enjoyed. While Remote Play is best known for using it on devices like phones, tablets, or laptops, 4K gaming may not be that noticeable on smaller screens.

However, it is a welcome addition for display enthusiasts who want the full experience on their Remote Play device, now outputting the 4K quality.

Steam's Remote Play 4K Now in Beta

Steam's take on remote game streaming under this feature presents the 4K experience under beta testing mode. While it may mean it is not yet the final product, 4K gaming support may still be accessed directly, especially for titles supporting this quality.

The latest beta update centers on more features like a better back button when launching a game, resizing the settings window, fixing overlays, and better fullscreen to windowed mode switch for the client.

Steam's Remote Play Experience

Remote Play has been around for gamers to experience for a long time now, and this has made the famed Steam platform available on any device, as long as the host computer is running and is capable of running said games.

That being said, Valve introduced a "Remote Play Together" that expands more of the experience with friends or acquaintances from other places.

This iconic experience lets people stream games from one device to another, centering on bringing top titles on different platforms via only one's subscribed account.

This feature may not be a full-fledged cloud gaming experience as it requires another computer that has the game installed before one can access it. However, it still offers a unique way of accessing it, especially with the feature that invites friends.

Steam Remote Play has been giving gamers a chance to bring their game anywhere, as it was also made available via the Steam Link app for mobile gaming.

Now, this feature brings 4K gaming support for a massive upgrade on its quality and graphics, allowing gamers to stream it directly to 4K devices to get the best out of every game.
