OPPO has just come out with a Pro version for its A-Series with the new OPPO A2 Pro which comes with premium gloss as well as Android specs that were described as mid-range. This comes as part of the company's new round-camera hump smartphones.

According to the story by Notebook Check, despite looking like the Find X6 flagship series, the new OPPO A2 Pro comes with a mid-range MediaTek chipset. Aside from that, the new smartphone comes with dual rear cameras on its round camera hump.
It was announced that the new OPPO A-Series smartphones have officially added a Pro version for the very first time. This comes as the device packs a round rear camera hump with a stylish border that emulates the look of professional cameras.
It was also revealed that the smartphone's rear camera hump is not Hasselblad-branded and despite it being very similar to the Find X6 Pro, the device kind of looks like a rebranded Realme 11 Pro. According to Notebook Check, this was due to certain specs from its screen size to battery.
The OPPO A2 Pro Specs Include a Dimensity 7050 SoC and 67W Fast Charging for Its 5,000 mAh Battery
For example, its screen uses a 6.7-unch FHD+ curved AMOLED display which packs a Dimensity 7050 SoC, as also spotted in a listing by GSM Arena. As for its battery and charging capabilities, it packs a 5,000 mAh battery and can support fast charging of 67W.
The article by Notebook Check highlighted that despite the enthusiasm of the company when it comes to mobile photography, the OPPO A2 Pro only has two cameras on its round rear camera bump.
The Smartphone Packs a 64 MP Main Shooter and 2 MP Depth Sensor
These cameras include a 64 MP main shooter as well as a simple 2 MP depth sensor. While it might look like the smartphone has four cameras, it only actually has two cameras with the other two holes being decorative accents.
It was also revealed that the A2 Pro is more expensive compared to the Realmi 11 Pro, which costs just around $247. That price was for the Realmi 11 Pro which packs 8 GB RAM as well as 256 GB internal storage.

The OPPO A2 Pro, on the other hand, costs close to $330 for the 12 GB variant that comes with a 512 GB top-end SKU. It was revealed that the smartphones are finished with either glass or vegan leather.
The glass options are for the Twilight or Vast Black shades while the vegan leather option is for the Desert Brown. It was noted that the higher prices could be related to the fact that the new A2 Pro is still under the new extended warranty program of OPPO for Chinese markets.
