new report from CNET announces the arrival of Dolby Vision to Max's Bleacher Report Sports (B/R Sports) Add-On package to enhance more of the live sports streaming experience for users. This comes at no additional costs apart from the add-on fees of the B/R Sports for existing subscribers to Max, centering on the enhancements to bring to all games available.

It is also right on time for the upcoming NBA 2024 All-Star Weekend set to begin this February 17, with the superstar showdown of the basketball league available to stream with Dolby Vision.

According to WB Discovery, B/R Sports on Max will offer selected live games that are airing on TNT, TBS, and TruTV simulcasted to the service. For now, the B/R Sports Add-On is available to experience for free, but after the promotional period, would ask for $9.99 more than their existing Max subscription.

Dolby Vision on Max B/R Sports: World's First

Dolby Vision is best known as a technology from the renowned company which offers improvements on the overall picture found in videos, boasting features like "ultravivid colors," shaper contrast, and richer details for the display. This technology coming to Max's B/R Sports is a first for all live sports streaming in the world, immersing more of the audience in the games via the platform.

Max's Streaming and What it Offers

The massive rebranding of the HBO Max platform delivered the "Max," offering the best of HBO's curated content and originals, including a significant library of renowned titles to enjoy. This arrived last May 2023 and offers a fresh take on the streaming platform to the world, also announcing new titles to enjoy as part of its reinforced strategy for the app.

However, Warner Bros. Discovery also has massive plans to bring more original and curated titles for Max, delivering significant adaptations to renowned series. One of the upcoming Max exclusives would be the remake of the famed Harry Potter novels as a television series, reimagining the Wizarding World in a different approach compared to WB's movies.

Also, the company introduced the live sports streaming experience for Max, with Bleacher Report Sports centering on the premium access towards selected leagues part of the package. The add-on may cost an additional $9.99 more than the regular subscription, but this massive upgrade and exclusive access to the top sporting leagues may be a deal breaker, especially with Dolby Vision.
