Bobbi Kristina Brown is said to be "awake."

Singer Bobby Brown, Bobbi Kristina's father, said over the weekend that his daughter, who had been in a coma for nearly three months, has woken up and is no longer on life support. The crowd at the Verizon Theatre in Grand Prairie, Texas, cheered at Brown's announcement, which he made during the Frankie Beverly concert on Saturday night.

"I could say today, Bobbi is awake," Brown said. "She's watching me."

However, it's unclear what Brown actually meant when he said Bobbi Kristina was awake. One source told People magazine that "there's been no change" and the family is still "praying that God perform a miracle" — spurring speculation that Bobbi Kristina could be conscious but not yet fully awake.

And yet, Tina Brown, Bobbi Kristina's aunt, posted on Facebook that the 22-year-old has indeed woken up.

"...yes, she woke and is no longer on life support!!!!!" Tina wrote. "God is good!! Thanks for your prayers, still a process, but she is going to be ok..."

This has also been confirmed by other sources who are apparently close to the family.

"Please don't stop praying for Bobbi Kris even though she is off life support and she has woken up," said Keliah Fell on Facebook. "We are decreeing life in her body and healing and we want to pray that God restore her body and everywhere that she hurts and we want God to mend her broken heart and make her whole all over again."

Bobbi Kristina is the only daughter of Bobby Brown and singer Whitney Houston. On Jan. 31, she was discovered lying facedown in a bathtub at home in Roswell, Ga., by her partner Nick Gordon. Bobbi Kristina was rushed to the Emory University Hospital where she was placed in a medically induced coma, but later attempts to take her out of the coma led to seizures.

Brown's announcement that his daughter is awake comes less than a month after Bobbi Kristina was transferred from Emory University to an undisclosed rehabilitation center in Atlanta.

Brown has been a constant fixture at his daughter's side since she was hospitalized. The first time he made a public appearance was on April 11 at the Soul Food Festival in Los Angeles. At the time, Bobbi Kristina remained unconscious and her father was clearly emotional.

"I want to thank you all for coming out tonight, for supporting me and my family," he told a crowd at the festival. "Rough times are rough times. Hard times are hard times. I don't know what the hell I'm going through right now, but I'm giving it to God."

In 2012, Houston died under eerily similar circumstances when she was discovered submerged in a bathtub at a Hollywood hotel.
