We recently told you about LEGO Dimensions, LEGO's highly anticipated entry into the toys-to-life genre of video games and toys. Like Skylanders, Disney Infinity and Nintendo's Amiibos, Dimensions will let players take physical toy characters (in this case, Minifigures and small vehicles) and "transport" them into a wide open video game world that mish-mashes various properties together.

The starter kit, priced at a whopping $100, includes the game, the Toy Pad (aka the power portal), a playable Batmobile and playable Minifigs for Batman, Wyldstyle and Gandalf the Grey. Playsets are expected to be included in the game for The Lord of the Rings, Batman and probably The Wizard of Oz. Additional Level Packs will be available at $30 each that add more levels to the game, and the first of these is known to be themed around Back to the Future.

Today, Walmart accidentally leaked some additional new content for the game that LEGO hadn't meant to announce just yet. Since that genie's out of the bottle, we'll go ahead and tell you. The newly discovered content includes two Level Packs — one for The Simpsons and another for, surprisingly, Portal.

Portal is the award-winning video game from Valve Software, a sort of hybrid puzzle game/shooter where the heroine wields a unique portal gun to create pathways that allow her to escape from various testing labs (imagine bringing that kind of gameplay into a LEGO setting and the mind boggles). This is also significant for representing the first-ever partnership between The LEGO Group and Valve; in theory it could lead to Portal, Half-Life and/or Team Fortress LEGO toy sets.

In addition to the two Level Packs, a pair of new Team Packs ($15 each) is coming as well. These come with characters and toys that you can transport into the game, but no new levels. The Team Packs just discovered are Jurassic Park and Scooby Doo (Jurassic World is already getting its own dedicated LEGO video game this summer).

We expect many more details to come for LEGO Dimensions before its release this fall.
