LG and T-Mobile are currently on a nationwide tour across the United States for the promotion of LG's newest flagship device, the G4 smartphone.

The tour, apparently, has also revealed that exact date on when T-Mobile customers can expect the G4 to be launched in the network's stores.

On a conversation on Twitter between a potential customer and the account of the Preview Tour of LG, the customer asked on when the smartphone will be available under the AT&T network.

LG replied by stating the LG G4 will launch in stores on June 2. While it is unclear whether LG's response is confirming that the G4 will be available on that date for AT&T customers, T-Mobile customers, or both, Google news website 9to5Google believes that the answer refers to T-Mobile stores. This is because the LG Preview Tour account is a component of the promotional campaign which teams up LG and T-Mobile, with AT&T not in the picture at all.

All the major carriers in the United States have revealed plans of selling the G4 smartphone, with U.S. Cellular and Sprint stating that they will begin selling the device in June. The June 2 date for T-Mobile, however, is the first instance that a definite date has been set for the nationwide release of the G4 to the United States market.

The price for the G4 has also not yet been officially revealed, but LG has said that it will have about the same price as the G3, the smartphone's predecessor, when it was first released. To give users and idea, upon the launch of the G3, it was selling for $200 if bought with a contract and $600 if bought unlocked.

The claim of LG regarding the price of the G4 was supported by a report by mobile device website PhoneArena, which took a look at the G4 giveaway promo of Sprint. In the fine print of the promotion, it is stated that the winners will be receiving the G4 smartphone, which will have an approximate retail value of $600.

The G4 smartphone has already been launched in LG's home country of South Korea. The device packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, a 16MP rear camera and a 5.5-inch, 1,440 pixel resolution display. The smartphone ships with Android 5.1 Lollipop pre-installed combined with the UX 4.0 skin of LG.
