Seems like there are two requirements for every triple-A video game these days.

One, you have to have a long string of post-release downloadable content packs. These can range from added skins and gear to full-sized missions.

Two, you've got to release a special edition of your game alongside the core release. These usually have special content you can't get elsewhere, or maybe faster access to level-ups.

Star Wars: Battlefront doesn't arrive until late in 2015, but EA Games has revealed that a "Deluxe Edition" will be available alongside the main game. Another $10 on top of the standard $59.99 will get you the Deluxe Edition, which unlocks five in-game items.

They are Han Solo's DL-44 blaster, Ion Grenades, Ion Torpedoes and new character emotes called "Ion Shocks" and "Victory." That last one is undoubtedly some kind of victory dance or gesture, but your guess is as good as ours what Ion Shocks is. The blaster and grenades are handheld weapons you'll use on foot, while the torpedoes must be an unlockable for vehicles.

So far developer DICE has only revealed Boba Fett and Darth Vader as playable characters, but with the inclusion of the DL-44 blaster, Han Solo is a sure bet. Since the game is focused on the original trilogy, along with some Force Awakens content, it's likely that the playable characters will all come from those films' time periods. That makes the most likely suspects Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Chewbacca and maybe Yoda. (Sorry, Ahsoka fans.)

Pre-ordering the game gives you access to the downloadable mission pack, "The Battle of Jakku." Jakku is the new desert planet seen in the trailers for Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The downed Star Destroyer seen in those clips is explained in this Star Wars: Battlefront mission.

Star Wars: Battlefront and the Deluxe Edition will be released on November 17, 2015 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. At present, the Deluxe Edition appears to be coming only to PS4 and Xbox One. "The Battle of Jakku" will be a free download available to all owners of the game in early December.
