Rare is a household name in the world of gaming. They have, after all, been around for 30 years.

Even if some of their more recent games haven't lived up to expectations, they are a storied developer with a long, long history, responsible for such classics as Battletoads, Banjo-Kazooie and Perfect Dark.

Yet another game will be added to that long list in the form of Sea of Thieves. Announced for the first time during Microsoft's E3 press conference, Sea of Thieves looks to be an open world, multiplayer pirate game, where players can sail the seven seas with friends and battle it out with other players for buried treasure.

Sadly, we don't know any other details aside from the game's art style, pirate setting and multiplayer focus, but expect more news, including a release window, to come soon.

That wasn't all that Rare announced. Going back to the company's long gaming history, the developer announced a new bundle that just might be one of the best deals in all of gaming. Called Rare Replay, the game will be a collection of 30 classic Rare games across multiple console generations. Perfect Dark, Viva Pinata, Battletoads, and Conker's Bad Fur Day — all of these iconic Rare titles and dozens more are all included.

The big shocker, however, is not that a Rare collection was announced, but how much it would cost. The game will retail for $30, and better yet, it is coming in August. Oh, and it also comes with a possible 10,000 gamerscore. That is sure to keep even the most dedicated gamer busy for a long, long while.
