It's the weekend of July 4th, and what better way to share your love of America than by shooting alien scumbags in Destiny?

Or at least that's what Xur wants you to do. The merchant is back in the Tower ready to take those Strange Coins off your hands in exchange for some new exotic gear.

If you are looking for Xur this week, he is hiding near the hangar bay. Just go right upon spawning in the Tower, go through the tunnel and turn right once again to find him. 

The merchant's wares this week are a bit of a mixed bag. Universal remote, an exotic shotgun, is decent but nothing extraordinary. The Hunter chestpiece Lucky Raspberry sports some impressive abilities, if you can get over the armor's relatively unimpressive look. 

Overall not a great selection from Xur this holiday weekend. Like usual, Xur is also selling heavy ammo packs, sparrow upgrades and an exotic engram. This week it's a helmet engram. If you want one, it will set you back 23 Motes of Light.
