Sprint, along with new spokesman David Beckham, surprised a happy family with seven iPhones, 10 years of service and a huge check. The award appeared on the new Fox TV show Knock Knock Live, hosted by Ryan Seacrest.

Most technology lovers would be thrilled to receive a knock on their door from a person handing them a brand new iPhone, and even more excited to discover that it included a full 10 years of free service. So, imagine how elated the Gonzalez family was when they received not one but seven free iPhones — one for each member of the family, 10 years of free service on each and a huge check for $100,000 to boot.

Then, imagine how surreal it would be if the bearer of these gifts happened to be international soccer superstar turned fashion icon David Beckham. This is exactly what the shocked Gonzalez family was presented with thanks to a new Fox show called Knock Knock Live.

The show was created by Simon Fuller, who also created two other Fox reality hits, American Idol and So You Think You Can Dance. With Idol coming to an end after the upcoming season, Fuller's newest concept has recruited its host Ryan Seacrest and is looking to give away surprises to deserving recipients.

The press materials from the show explains: " In every episode, several lucky viewers all over the United States will get the coveted door knock, and once the doors open ... BAM ... they're on live television in front of millions of people! The show could come to your school, your work or your own front door — you never know where we'll be knocking or when we're going to strike!"

The first episode featured the big Sprint iPhone and check giveaway, and presumably, was subsidized by the company in some way or other. With $100,000 in tow in addition to their new iPhones, it looks like the Gonzalez family can now even afford to switch to Verizon.
