Who had the better Big Three — the 2007-08 Boston Celtics with Ray Allen, Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce or the 2012-13 Miami Heat with LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh?

In taking to its Twitter account Thursday (August 27), 2K announced the 2007-08 Celtics and 2012-13 Heat as the latest squads available in NBA 2K16 as part of its continued Throwback Thursday series of reveals.

The latest throwback teams aren't that old ... but there's no denying their greatness. While that Celtics team is only seven years removed from winning the NBA title and the Heat just two, they're two of the better championship teams that basketball fans have ever seen.

Adding perennial All-Stars like Garnett and Allen to team with Pierce on the Celtics resulted in Boston winning 42 more games than it did the previous year and going 66-16 in the regular-season. They then defeated Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers in six games of the NBA Finals to win the franchise's first title since 1986.

Meanwhile, the 2012-13 Heat team enjoyed a ridiculous 27-game winning streak as part of their 66-win season as well. King James won his second straight and fourth overall league MVP, and the Heat were able to force overtime of Game 6 of the NBA Finals against the San Antonio Spurs before going on to win the Finals in seven games and cement their back-to-back reign.

These two teams can hang with the best of the best.
