Bungie has posted yet another trailer for the major new Destiny DLC pack, The Taken King. This one's a little different.

For starters, this is the "launch gameplay" trailer, which means it's been posted near the game's launch, and it's an official look at in-game action (instead of pre-rendered CGI or cutscenes).

But what really jumps out at you about this trailer is its use of Led Zeppelin's 1971 song "Black Dog." The fun tone of the song seems to run counter to the DLC's dead-serious story.

In The Taken King, a Hive king named Oryx, who's worshipped by his people as a god, aims for Earth. He seeks for revenge over the death of his son, Crota, the main villain of the first DLC pack, The Dark Below. He's forged his own army, called the Taken, and his massive ship sits in the rings of Saturn, waiting to consume the solar system. As the trailer says, "Oryx smells the blood of his son on your hands, Guardians. Now the Taken King comes for us all."

The Taken King introduces new subclasses for all three Guardian classes, new abilities, new locations to explore and battle through, loads of new weapons and gear and including new Exotics, a major revision to the leveling system, a new voice for Ghost, a new Raid, new Strikes, and much more.

Watch the trailer below, and prepare for the arrival of Destiny: The Taken King  on Tuesday, September 15.
