The latest Xbox One bundle from Microsoft will have even existing Xbox One owners looking to upgrade.

It's called the Xbox One Elite Bundle, and it comes with a number of features that you won't find anywhere else. For starters, the bundle will come with the fully customizable Xbox One Elite controller. Featuring interchangeable sticks, paddles on the back and Hair Trigger locks, it's a hardcore gamers controller that normally comes with a hardcore price tag of $150.

But the real selling point of this new elite console is a 1TB solid state hybrid hard drive. According to Microsoft, the solid state hybrid hard drive "stores frequently-accessed files on a solid state partition and optimizes system performance so you can get to the action up to 20 percent faster from energy-saving mode." The console also comes with a matte finish.

"We're delivering the greatest games lineup in Xbox history and we're committed to delivering gamers the experiences and value they can't find on any other platform," Microsoft says with the bundle's announcement.

As game downloads and install sizes get larger and larger, a TB hard drive that loads content even faster is definitely a major selling point. The bundle will be available for $500 exclusively at Gamestop or Microsoftstore.com during the month of November in the US, though the bundle will also be available worldwide. Considering a TB console plus the Xbox One Elite controller would set you back $550, this bundle is a solid deal that may have 500 GB Xbox owners seriously considering an upgrade.

Microsoft also unveiled a new, Gamestop exclusive "Lunar White" controller that will go on sale in Sept. for $64.99. Meanwhile, the Xbox One Elite controller goes on sale in October.

Both Sony and Microsoft are offering some great bundles this holiday season for gamers who are still sitting on the fence about jumping into the current generation of gaming. With bundles like the Xbox One Elite and the Star Wars Battlefront PlayStation 4 bundle, there has never been a better time to upgrade.
