Ever since EA Sports announced a September release date for FIFA 16, there has been a litany of news surrounding potential updates and additions to the latest installment, including tweaks to more coordinated and organic gameplay, increasingly customizable homepage menus and an expansion to include female players for the first time in the game's history.

In a video posted today, EA Sports announced specific enhancements it is making to the game's Career Mode component. The most tangible changes revolve around two central features focused on augmenting both the manager and player gaming experiences.

The first includes invites for worldwide pre-season tournament that allows you to try tactics, test out substitutes and train your starting 11 ahead of the regular season. Any price perks received from this pre-season automatically carry over to your transfer budget.

The second provides a more detailed and realistic player training system. As a manager, you can supervise weekly training sessions for up to five players at a time — this includes practice drills aimed at strengthening attributes like passing, finishing and tackling. On the player mode side, you can hone in on a single player through multiple practice sessions and control and evaluate real-time progress.

To complement these two features, there is also a more immersive and responsive broadcasting system that picks up on any out-of-stadium progress and incorporates it into the game-time commentary.

Free agents and youth squad scouting systems have also been updated to reflect the real world in more detail, while transfer budgets and player values are also much closer to those you'd see in the actual global leagues.

The new installment of the FIFA series is set to hit U.S. shelves on September 24 and is currently available for preorder here.

The release will be available for the PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
