Happy Force Friday, Star Wars fans. Not only does today signify a lot of brand new merchandise from the Star Wars universe (particularly for Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens), but it also signifies a huge sale over at Marvel.com on Star Wars-related titles.
In fact, Marvel has a total of 12 collections of Star Wars comics on sale today, with those collections marked down by almost 80 percent. So, a collection that normally goes for $14.99 is just $4.99, but only until Sept. 6.
Here's a list of the collections you can grab today for dirt cheap:
Classic Star Wars Vol. 1 – This collection brings together all the great comic strips from 1981 through 1984, featuring events that unfolded for Luke, Leia and Han between the first two movies.
Star Wars Vol. 1 — In The Shadow of Yavin – This collection brings together Star Wars (2013) #1-6 and Star Wars: FCBD #1. The comics cover what happened after the Rebel Alliance destroyed the Death Star.
Star Wars: Legacy Vol. 1 – This book brings together Star Wars: Legacy (2006) #1-19, 0.5 and Handbook. In this collection, learn about bounty hunter Cade Skywalker, who wants nothing to do with the Jedi or his family.
Star Wars: Legacy II Vol. 1 – This book features Star Wars: Legacy (2013) #1-5 and tells the story of another famous descendant of Star Wars fame, Ania Solo.
Star Wars — Agent of the Empire Vol. 1 – This is the story from Star Wars: Agent of the Empire — Iron Eclipse #1-5. In this collection, Darth Vader is leading fleets across the galaxy, while the Empire becomes unstoppable. The story follows Imperial Intelligence agent Jahan Cross and his droid as they travel across the Empire.
Star Wars Omnibus: A Long Time Ago ... Vol. 1 – This collection brings together the first 26 issues of Marvel's original 1977 Star Wars series.
Star Wars Omnibus: Knights of the Old Republic Vol. 1 – This collection brings together the stories of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (2006) #0-18. The story follows a padawan who gets framed for the murder of a fellow Jedi.
Star Wars Omnibus: X-Wing Rogue Squadron Vol. 1 – This edition collects Star Wars: X-Wing Rogue Leader #1-3, Star Wars: X-Wing Rogue Squadron #1-8 and Star Wars: X-Wing Rogue Squadron Handbook. The story introduces some of the greatest starfighters in the Rebel Alliance as they fight the evil that is the Empire.
Star War Tales Vol. 1 – This book brings together issues #1-4 of 1999's Star Wars Tales, an anthology featuring stories about Darth Vader, Obi-Wan Kenobi, C-3PO, Han Solo, Lando Calrissian and more.
Star Wars — A New Hope Vol. 1 – This is the complete screenplay of the first ever Star Wars film that started it all, done in manga. Follow Luke Skywalker's journey as he learns the ways of the Jedi and begins the path that leads him to his destiny.
Star Wars — The Empire Strikes Back Vol. 1 – This is the next volume of manga that includes the entire screenplay of a Star Wars film. Follow the adventures of Luke, Leia and Han as they battle the Empire on Hoth.
Star Wars — Return of the Jedi Vol. 1 – This manga sums up the final film of the original Star Wars trilogy, following Leia's escape from Jabba the Hutt, Hans' entrapment in carbonite and Luke's revelation about his father.
