PewDiePie is at it again, but this time, it's not a video. The Swedish YouTube star took things digital in a different way, starring in a pixelated action game for iOS and Android - PewDiePie: Legend of the Brofist.

The Canadian studio Outerminds developed the game, producing a 2D retro side-scrolling action game, which appealed to old-school gamers because of the gameplay and design and to younger gamers because of the pixelated PewDiePie.

The mobile app doesn't stop there, as it features other YouTube sensations as well such as CinnamonToastKen, Cryaotic, JackSepticEye, Markiplier and Marzia, and the developers even included PewDiePie's pet pugs Maya and Edgar.

In the game, PewDiePie's character is spot on, including his popular style of humor. The game's makers did a really good job on this one in which Felix "PewDiePie" Kjellberg commented on his video, "This is so accurate" and "Sounds like a normal PewDiePie video right there."

The game is a good change of pace not only because it features PewDiePie, but also because the developers went against the prevailing trend of "freemium" games, excluding in-app purchases. PewDiePie: Legend of the Brofist is available on Google Play Store and the App Store for $5.

This isn't the only time that PewDiePie plans to go beyond his vlog, as Penguin Random House is going to release the YouTube star's book "This Book Loves You" in October, not to mention that Felix was turned into a physical action figure too, along with other popular YouTube gamers.

In 2014, PewDiePie's channel was the most popular, allowing him to earn approximately $7.4 million from his sponsorships. With PewDiePie having 39 million subscribers and counting, products with his name on them are sure to sell.

When it comes to TV shows, PewDiePie is no stranger. South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker featured PewDiePie on one of their episodes before, and now Felix is going to be a guest on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" on Oct. 1. He is also going to star in what seems to be a reality show, filming in Los Angeles for two months.

PewDiePie is not alone in the transition, as Jordan "CaptainSparklez" Maron is also in collaboration with Activision to develop Fortress Fury, a competitive mobile game.
