Details surrounding the Samsung Galaxy F / S5 Prime have been leaking on an almost daily basis. The latest leak shows the QHD-equipped smartphone in an all-black color option.
One of the most talked about smartphones hasn't even been officially announced but that's not stopping Samsung's "premium" Galaxy F / S5 Prime from making headlines. The smartphone is widely expected to be unveiled at IFA in Berlin in September alongside Samsung's next-generation Galaxy Note 4 phablet.
We've been covering the Galaxy F / S5 Prime and recently reported the smartphone would be offered in a "Perfect Golden" color choice. The smartphone soon leaked in a new "Glowing Gold" hue and was quickly followed with an image of the handset sporting a silver brushed-aluminum case.
All of the Samsung Galaxy F / S5 Prime leaked images had one thing in common, a QHD display surrounded by white borders and bezels. We now know that Samsung will also offer the smartphone in an all-black color option.
The always-reliable evleaks has once again leaked Samsung's premium Galaxy F / S5 Prime and this time the tipster is showing us the smartphone all dressed up in black. The image also shows the smartphone's silver aluminum frame.
The Samsung Galaxy F / S5 Prime is expected to feature a 5.2-inch QHD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440. The smartphone is believed to ship with Android 4.4.4 KitKat and will be powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor and 3 GB of RAM. The handset will also have built-in LTE-Advanced, which will allow the smartphone to achieve network speeds of up to 225 Mbps.
The Galaxy F / S5 Prime's camera capabilities are said to include the same 16-megapixel ISOCELL camera found on the current Galaxy S5. The handset is expected to sport a brushed metal-looking plastic back and an aluminum frame that's nearly identical to Apple's iPhone 5s, complete with chamfered edges.
