'Prodeus' Early Access Gameplay, System Requirements: How to Resolve Not Launching on PC Issue

Indie first-person game "Prodeus" Early Access is now available on Steam. Created by Bounding Box Software Inc and Humble Games, this 90's style game has a retro feel that will make you feel nostalgic.

"We’re still finalizing our roadmap but we are already planning more campaign content, monsters, weapons, editor tools, achievements as well as a larger emphasis on multiplayer support," said developer Bounding Box Games, adding that more specific details will come.

The initial release will give single players an exciting 3 to 5 hours game with different monster encounters. Although it has a retro theme, it also re-imagined some modern rendering techniques.

'Prodeus' Not Launching on PC

Currently, it has received Very Positive reviews on Steam. However, since it is on an Early Access status, gamers encounter technical problems. Those who try to launch it on PC may not be able to do so.

Developers are aware of this issue, but while they are still trying to resolve it, gamers can follow the advice of The Nerd Mag. Following these steps to fix it:

Fix 1: Unplug Controllers
It may sound odd, but the controllers are possibly stopping the game from launching. Hence, disconnect your game controllers from your PC.

Fix 2: Make sure GPU drivers are updated.
See to it that your windows are updated to the latest version of your GPU drivers.

Fix 3: Make sure our operating systems are updated.
You should also see to it that your operating system is the latest version. To do that, click on Start and go to Settings then select Update and Security. Click on Windows Update where you can check if there are pending updates that you need to run.

In its steam description, it says that the game play features "visceral and engaging combat scenarios" with heavy-duty weaponry. It also has a built-in community map browser which makes the game more exciting. Using dynamic heavy metal soundtrack from Andrew Hulshult, one's journey in different difficulty and game modes will be full of fun and thrill.
