"Cyberpunk 2077" players assume the role of V, a fully customizable character who is taken around Night City in search of a cyberware that can make you immortal, along with a trusty "sidekick" in the form of Johnny Silverhand (Keannu Reeves), a former rockstar.

Most choices does not change the ending of the game, but can trigger additional dialogues or scenes.

'Cyberpunk 2077' Hidden Choices Guide

According to ScreenRant, when playing as V, you'll end up making some choices in the game that could completely change your path, especially by the end of the main storyline.

But "Cyberpunk 2077" is a game filled with choices, so it wasn't exactly surprising when some people found out about the hidden choices in the game, but you'll never know whether the decision you made altered your path until later on.

With that, here are some of the most important hidden choices you can make, as well as the consequences in the story.

'Automatic Love': Kill Woodman or Not?

Woodman is the antagonist in the "Automatic Love" side mission. He owns Clouds and is partially responsible for Evelyn's fate. There are three choices:

  • Storm into Woodman's office and kill everyone
  • Sneak in and interrogate Wooman before killing him
  • Sneak in, interrogate Woodman, and let him go

If you let him live, you'll end up facing him in the "Ex-Factor" side mission, so it's best to deal with him when you can.

'Space in Between': Hitting Fingers

One "Cyberpunk 2077" hidden choice eliminates one ripperdoc in Night City.

After "Automatic Love," V will have to go to "Fingers" and talk to him. He is definitely not the best character in the game, and during several points in the conversation, V will be tempted to punch him.

You can hit him when the option arises and it won't create any major consequences in the story. But, Fingers won't become an available ripperdoc throughout the game.

'The Heist': Jackie's Body

By the end of "The Heist," V will be asked where Jackie's body should be sent. If you choose to ask Delamain to wait or if you decide to send Jackie's body to his family, you'll be invited to the memorial service during the "Heroes" side mission.

Sending Jackie's body to Vik will result in Takemura sharing that the body had been intercepted by Arasaka and that they are planning to use the SoulKiller on him in order to gain information and make an engram.

If you decide to send Jackie's body to the ripperdoc, there won't be a memorial service, but you'll get some additional storylines and dialogue later in the game.

'Gimme Danger': Meet Takemura?

This is one of the hidden choices in "Cyberpunk 2077" that has the potential to change the game's ending.

Basically, in the "Gimme Danger," V has a chance to meet with Takemura for some reconnaissance. If you choose to do so, you'll get some information on the building's weak points, plus you get some extra dialogue with Takemura, allowing you to deepen your friendship with the man. This can affect one of "Cyberpunk 2077's" endings.

'Search and Destroy': Saving Takemura

Many "Cyberpunk 2077" players may not know about this but after the police attack the building, the quest marker for "Search and Destroy" will require you to get out of the building.

However, you can go upstairs and rescue Takemura first. Once you do, you will unlock "The Devil" trophy, and if you trigger the corresponding ending, Takemura will appear in the Epilogue of the game.

'Play it Safe': Kill Oda or Not?

During "Play it Safe," V will be tasked to take down Oda, Hanako Arasaka's bodyguard. After defeating him, Takemura will call, asking you to spare his life. You have two choices:

  • Shoot Oda
  • Spare him

If you kill him, he will be gone for good. But if you let him live, he will show up in one of the "Cyberpunk 2077" endings. Either way, the decision won't influence the story in any major way.

'Happy Together': Checking in on Barry

Barry is V's neighbor, a good guy who's been having a hard time after the death of his best friend. In "Happy Together," Barry's colleagues from the NCPD would ask you to check in on him.

To finish the task, you need to speak with Barry. Unfortunately, it's an unspecified amount of time, so you'll want to do this as soon as you can. After speaking with him, you can visit Andrew's memorial, who you find out is actually a tortoise.

After the memorial, go back to the NCPD and tell them the truth about Andrew. This is important since if you leave that part, his colleagues won't realize the danger Barry is in and he will ultimately kill himself.

If you fail to talk to Barry altogether, the task will auto-complete and you will fail.

'Dream On': Truth or Lie?

Other hidden choices can add "flavor" to the game's endings.

During the "Dream On" side mission, you will be working with the Peralez couple. Soon enough, you find evidence of a mysterious organization performing mind control on the couple, as well as altering their memories. Elizabeth will beg V to not tell Jefferson the truth, fearing for his safety.

By the end of the quest, you'll be given the choice of whether to tell the truth or not. Whichever you choose, Jefferson will thank you and the task is complete. Soon after, you'll receive a message from them, then they block your number and won't be able to hear from them for the rest of the game.

The consequence of this choice won't come after later in the game. If you choose to tell him the truth, Jefferson will call during the end credits of "Cyberpunk 2077," talking in a panicked voice, saying "they" are changing him.

'The Beast in Me': Convince Claire or Support Her?

In "The Beast in Me," Claire, a bartender at the Afterlife, will confide to V about wanting to take revenge on Sampson, so she will ask you to help her kill him. You can either convince her not to find revenge, or you can support her. Whatever you choose will change the questline's ending.

Regardless of what you choose, Claire will want to stay close to Sampson during the last race to shoot him. You have another choice to make here:

  • Ignore Claire and treat this as any other "Cyberpunk 2077" race to win the rewards, but Claire will act coldly towards V whenever they meet her in Afterlife.
  • Follow Claire's instruction and lose the race.

If you choose the latter, you'll need to make another choice: allow Claire to take revenge or convince her not to.

Allowing her to take her revenge will allow you to take her unique truck as an award and add it to your roster of rides. If you initially talked Claire out of revenge, you can talk to her again and convince her to spare Sampson. She will back down and spare him, and in the end, V will get both Claire's truck and Sampson's unique car as rewards.

If you didn't talk her out of it before, but you did after the race, it will fail and Claire will end up killing Sampson, taking her revenge.
