E3 2021 is only a few weeks away, and a lot of gamers are finding it hard to contain their excitement. It's understandable, because we can expect some of the biggest gaming news there come June.

This year's event, much like the reworked one of last year, will be fully online and will run from June 12 to 15, according to CNET.

Despite a lot of the exhibitors and their shows being already confirmed, a couple of them still haven't revealed their presentation times yet (Square Enix and Nintendo). This is why the entire schedule is still not available as of the moment.

But forget about that, because some exhibitors will be way more anticipated than others. As such, here are the events and exhibitors you should really watch out for, given the rumors surrounding their upcoming software and hardware releases.

E3 2021's BIGGEST Show: Nintendo

Compared to industry giants such as Sony and Microsoft, Nintendo might not command as much attention as they'd like to. But the times have changed, and the hype for Nintendo's E3 2021 presentation is reaching insane levels for two main reasons.

First off, there's the rumored Nintendo Switch Pro. More and more leaks have been coming out and it seems like they just keep on coming.

Back in April, it was alleged that the Switch Pro model will be coming this year. People are getting really excited because according to insiders, the Switch Pro will likely be the most powerful handheld gaming console ever.

Why is that? Well, it's allegedly going to be able to play games in 4K. Imagine, a handheld, hybrid gaming console able to do 4K. Aside from that, it's also expected to feature an OLED screen. A lot of rumors point to a September-October release window, with an official announcement at E3 2021.

The Switch Pro (or as other people call it, Super Nintendo Switch) is going to absolutely break E3 2021 if it does get announced there. But then again, gamers will have to temper their expectations, no matter how bad it may feel because it will be better to not expect huge things if there is a potential to get disappointed at the end.

The official date and time for the Nintendo showcase is yet to be announced, which is obviously further adding to the excitement.

Microsoft and Bethesda's Joint Presentation

After acquiring Bethesda, Microsoft is now planning a joint presentation with the iconic developer, slated for June 13--right in the E3 2021 wheelhouse, as reported by Polygon. And with these two titans showcasing their upcoming projects together, fans can expect more news about two BIG games: "Halo Infinite" and "Starfield."

A trailer for Halo Infinite is played during the Microsoft Corp. Xbox event ahead of the E3 Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles, California, U.S., on Sunday, June 9, 2019. Microsoft introduced its new Xbox console that will be four times more powerful than the current generation Xbox One X, thanks to an AMD processor that allows for 120 frames per second.

Aside from the anticipated (possible) reveal of the Switch Pro, "Halo Infinite" is also going to break E3 2021 if it proves to be more than just another "Halo" game.

There's been barely any news about it ever since it was teased in 2019, and Master Chief's avid fans are basically salivating for any news. Aside from that, more details about Bethesda's brand new IP, "Starfield," might also be showcased. Maybe we can also expect a full gameplay reveal?

Microsoft and Bethesda's joint showcase will be held on June 13 at 10 AM PT/1 PM ET/6 PM BST, and June 14 at 3 AEST.
