Apple WWDC 2021 on Monday, June 7 has finished and the Cupertino giant has brought good news to the developers. Through the latest software of the tvOS15, the beta would be incorporating two smart home devices of the company: Apple TV 4K and Apple TV HD.

Apple TV HD and Apple TV 4K's tvOS 15 beta is now available for developers.

According to Macrumors earlier this week. The most recent tvOS 15 beta can now be accessed at the moment. However, the exclusivity of the usage is only limited to the developers. Through an Xcode, they could now download their Apple profile on the smart home television.

In the upcoming summer, the tech giant would be releasing a public meta for the select tvOs 15 testers. It is expected that the update would be launched together with the watchOS 8, iOS 15, iPadOS 15, and macOS 12.

When compared to Apple's existing operating systems, you cannot make backup storage for the Apple TV. For this, the Cupertino titan is only offering two possible options for the tvOS upgrade. The first one is the usual over-the-air updates which only require an internet connection and the second one is through using the USB Type-C which would help you restore the original factory settings for your smart home device.

Steps to Follow When Installing tvOS 15 With Spatial Audio

Installation of the tvOS 15 beta could be confusing to some users. For those who have Apple TV, remember that you cannot access it through the web. Make sure that before you set things up, you first need to connect it to your Mac. In the case of public beta, you can simply go to the Settings to turn it on, XDA Developers reported.

Follow these procedures to help you install the OS with Apple Music's newest feature:

1. Head to the Apple Developer through accessing Develop, then Downloads. Tap Install Profile besides the tvOS 15.

2. Before doing that, see to it that you have already an installed Xcode and an Apple Configurator.

3. Turn on the Apple TV and link it to the Internet and your Mac.

4. Access Xcode through going to Windows, Devices, and Simulators, and Devices.

5. To begin device pairing, go to your Apple TV's Settings and access the Remote App and Devices.

6. You can now see the Discovered Section. Select Apple TV. Type the verification code that will appear.

7. Open Apple Configurator and just proceed to the steps on how to set up your device.

8. After that, tap Add then Profiles. You can now add the configuration profile.

9. Regularly check the software updates.

How to Use Restore Image

1. Head to Apple Developer and look for the Downloads for the Restore Image for your smart home TV

2. Use a USB-C cable to link your Apple TV to the Mac.

3. Select Apple TV in Finder.

4. Tap Restore apple TV while holding Option.

5. In Finder, select your Apple TV.

6. Go to the image that you want to access. Download and open it after.
