According to a report by Mashable on Wednesday, Feb. 23, this feature will not be suited for people who want to keep their privacy on Instagram. This is mainly suited for users who want to engage in business on social media.
Here are the steps that you need to follow to make this happen.
- Begin by opening your Instagram profile.
- After doing that, go to the upper right corner and look for the icon with three lines. Click it.
- Go to the Settings.
- Search and tap Account.
- From there, scroll further until you see Switch to Professional Account.
- Simply click Continue.
- Click the circle below Display on profile. Choose what kind of business or account best describes you.
- Press OK after selecting a category.
- Choose between Creator and Business then tap Next to proceed to the next step.
- You will be asked if you want to be protected from unwanted interactions. For this one, just select if you want this option: either Not Now or Save Settings.
