Microsoft rolled out a new update for Windows 11 on tablets that aim to give a new experience for its taskbar that would put it in a sleek position to avoid interference with users. The new design of the taskbar for tablets aims to increase productivity and help users with the accessibility of their device, with the Start Menu and its widgets or apps tucked away, available in a click.

Microsoft released a blog post that details the release of Windows 11's new tablet-optimized taskbar that would help users have a better experience within the system of their hybrid computer. The release details the many changes in the taskbar for tablets that would help increase productivity for the different work that a person would accomplish. 

The taskbar now features a collapsed mode that will make way for the screen and only display the "critical notifications" on the bottom. It will go into expanded mode is toggled by a user for their need, enlarging to its previous size that helps in monitoring the different icons in the taskbar that stays for the display. 

The software company also improved the widgets accessible when toggling the Start Menu, as well as the different displays that received optimization from the company. 

The update brings many changes from the previous Build 22557.

No More Cluttered Workspace for Windows 11 Tablets

Microsoft said that it aims to help the productivity of users with the new release of the taskbar, focusing on its many changes that will help in an optimized workspace for tablet users. Often, the tablet version is a small niche for Windows as more prefers the regular desktop computers that host the OS, but the company made sure to give it a refresh for its users.

Several taskbar functions were made available again for Windows 11's 22H2 update that revives several important features in the taskbar of the OS. What Microsoft did was to test out several important features and details within the Windows 11 Start Menu that lies within the taskbar for easy access to the different locations and functions of the computer system. 

The many improvements and changes to the taskbar only show that Microsoft is intent on bringing the best version of Windows 11, available for all users. Nevertheless, the tablet is as important as the desktop computers of the company, giving it an adept upgrade that would allow users to have functions to help them in their daily tasks.
