Google Stadia is hinting that it will soon feature Windows PC games, and it would bring the popular titles to the cloud streaming platform for users on other devices. It may be a conflict of interest as Microsoft already has the Xbox Cloud Gaming streaming platform for the titles, but the speculations and reports around it say so for the Google service.

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA - MARCH 19: Attendees stand near the Stadia logo during the GDC Game Developers Conference on March 19, 2019 in San Francisco, California. Google announced Stadia, a new streaming service that allows players to play games online without consoles or computers.

Google is looking for ways to include Windows PC games on the Stadia's cloud gaming platform in the service, but now, it may have unlocked the key to do this. According to Redditors, Google is building a new way to do this via emulation, and it will create it on the Linux platform for the Stadia cloud to bring it to gamers.

The Redditors say that the company is to reveal this hint on their gaming developer's summit that it would soon host, focusing on the many features it will bring for the users. The cloud platform has not yet got any Windows PC games and concentrated mostly on console games to bring to a different platform, making this a first for them.

Windows PC Games on Cloud: Already on Xbox Cloud

Windows PC Games on the cloud are available on the Xbox Cloud Gaming platform, and they have the rights to distribute it because it is from the Microsoft company, which is also distributing it. However, Google can ask for licenses from its developers and publishers, hence the availability of the Windows games on the Stadia.

Google Stadia and Cloud Gaming Platforms

Google allows gamers of the Stadia cloud gaming platform to stream different titles for the various devices that can connect to the internet, and it brought a breeze for most gamers. Instead of having it installed on one's device, users can directly stream the titles using the internet, even to consoles like the Nintendo Switch

Despite having initial mixed reviews for the Stadia, it is still a growing platform that brings different features for gamers and allows them to experience other titles and focus on its experience. Several parts of the Stadia focuses on friend requests for anyone that has their Google account, and it will help promote game streaming

The internet company's cloud gaming platform is a massive venture for them, especially as Google is mainly built on web services and has been building up its presence in the cloud industry. Its capabilities to feature Windows PC games bring gamers an opportunity to explore more titles available to the public without the need for a ludicrous gaming setup that will cost them thousands.
